Tridib Kumar Chatterjee and Himadrikishore Dasgupta have jointly penned the historical novel fictionalising the rise and eventual downfall of King Shashanka – a story of love, compassion, morality, betrayal and ruthlessness. A vivid portrayal of our history, this joint endeavour is the first of its kind in Bengali literature.
